Location: Airbus Headquarters, Toulouse, France


The Reward & Organisation department is looking for a trainee to start on September 15th, 2010 in the area of Organisation, involving Organisation Design and Development.

Description of activities

The internship objective is to contribute to the development of the activities related to Organisation Design as well as to provide support in traditional aims of our department such as position Grading.

Among the first topics, the trainee will:

 Participate in the Process description of our area’s main activities, as part of company’s major organisation project.

 Assist the team in the preparation of regular presentations on the Organisation progress to the Head of Functions and Experts. Regarding this subject, the trainee will be committed to take part in monitoring organisation changes and analysing organisation structure (spans and layers, micro-organisation units, management positions...).

 Generate through research activities (using internal and external information) new approaches to the analysis of Airbus’ organisation today, in front of the business regarding social challenges of tomorrow.


Regarding Grading, he/she will:

 Support our department in processes aiming at grading executive and manager positions.
 Take part in activities heading to map manager positions in different functions of the company.


Miscellaneous:

 Other projects of the team could be opened to the trainee whenever he/she shows the ability of handling more complex issues.

Profile and skills

The candidate should:
-Be a student on the following areas in his 4th or 5th year of studies: Human Resources, social or economic sciences, business administration.
-Have advanced communication skills in English (if he/she is an English native speaker, this applies for other languages such as French, German, Spanish ...), knowledge of French is welcomed.
-Some experience in academic research would be appreciated.
-Be proficient in computer tools (MS Office pack).
-Be proactive, open-minded, innovative, discrete and team-worker.

Trainee remuneration

Depending on level of studies (between 700€ and 1200€ growth per month).

Duration of training period

6 to 12 months from starting date.
