Purification of silver nanoparticles

1. I want to know how to purify silver nanoparticles synthesized by green method ( (vegetal extract); I want to eliminate organic matter.
2. Is it necessary to arrive at a transparent solution after purification?
3. To perform XRD and SEM analysis, the sample must be solid?
