Help Latex insertion figure (windows)

Bonjour!
Je travaille sous windows, j'ai un suite miXtex avec l'éditeur texniccenter.

Je précise que je suis débutante (svp, me parlez pas de trucs d'informaticiens), mais que jusqu'ici tout se passait bien. Jusqu'à ce que j'essaie d'insérer une figure.
J'utilise une commande classique (\usepackage{graphicx} dans le préambule; \begin{figure} \includegraphics{fichier.pdf} \end{figure}) au début y'avait toute une foule de raffinements (centrer le bazar, taille, légende,...), mais j'ai taillé dans la masse pour éviter les fautes de frappe.
Toites ces commandes ont été vérifiées et copiées de site surs; et je les ai même trouvés dan mon éditeur.

J'utilise pdflatex pour compiler mon truc, mon graphique est en pdf (j'ai essayé jpg et png, aussi), dans le même dossier que le dossier de mon document latex.
Quand je compile, aucune erreur, mais à l'affichage, aucune trace de mon graphique.

J'ai même eu des trucs absolument loufoques comme le nom de mon fichier qui apparait, centré et là ou je lui ai demandé d'aller, mais sans trace de l'image

Commencer par nous donner le rapport de compilation (le fichier .log généré pendant la compilation), histoire de voir ce qui se passe !

Pour voir un peu, j'ai refait un essai beaucoup plus simple

compilation sans erreur; mais quand s'ouvre ma fenêtre pdf il affiche "une erreur est survenue lors d el'ouverture de ce document. fichier introuvable" et il m'affiche rien.

Ce qui est incroyable c'ets que j'ai bien un pdf qui s'affiche pour mon fichier de base, sans image, mais il s'ouvre.

je vous mets le rapport de compilationd e celui là aussi?

Ouille!
Tout nouveau fichier que je crée subit le même sort. compilation sans problème mais pas d'affichage du pdf.

Et tout modification que j'apporte à un fichier tex pré-existant n'apprait pas au pdf, comme si simplement il ouvrait le "vieux" fichier.
j'ai lancé un fichier minimaliste- le meme que plus haut sans le package graphique ni le graphique. Voici le log.

Chez moi, ça marche... Essaye avec seulement le package graphicx, enlève tout le reste, et reposte le rapport... En tout cas, c'est normal que tu ne voies rien, il n'y a pas de pdf de généré.

Entre-temps je suis devenue dingue (ré-ouvrir un fichier écrit la veille, un tout petit texte tout simple, le modifier et voir qu'aucune des modifications n'apparait...), j'ai créé plusieurs tout petits documents en supprimant à chaque fois de spackages.

Ca semblait pas lié à un en particulier, puisque j'ai à chaque fois eu un message d'erreur, et quand mon document contenait quelque chose, il ne me générait pas le pdf.
J'ai essayé en dvi aussi; pareil.

j'ai deux-trois log de mes essais si ça vous intéresse en tant que casse-tête.

Mais bon, j'en ai conclus que miktex (c'ets pas texniccenter parce que j'avais pareil avec l'éditeur texworks inclus dans la suite) avait un sérieux souci. Je l'ai supprimé et réinstallé, et il me prend mon tex, le compile et construit le pdf sans souci (bon, il reconnait pas mes accents, mais je lui en veux pas)

Bon, j'ai parlé trop vite.

je suis sur texworks comme éditeur, maintenant, et j'ai encore de sproblèmes à insérer un ^pdf.
si je l'insère sans rien lui demander ca va, mais si j'essaie de changer sa taille, ca foire...

dans mon préambule:
\usepackage{graphics}

puis dans le doc
\begin{figure}
\centering
\includegraphics[width=13cm,height=7cm]{spectro}
\end{figure}

et il m'affiche "missing number, treated as zero"
et pas d'image
(je sais pas sil vous faut tout le log, il est vmt long, et j'ai l'impression que c'ets juste moi qui ai oublié un truc trop con, mais pas moyen de trouver...

Les options "width=" et "height=" sont disponibles avec le pacakage graphicx, et pas graphics !

Note que mettre les deux options simultanément risque de déformer ton image. Si tu ne mets qu'une des deux, elle conservera ses proportions.

Note aussi que, pour automatiquement adapter la largeur de ta figure à la largeur de ta page, tu peux utiliser des choses comme

[width=\textwidth]

que tu peux multiplier par des facteurs "0.9\textwidth", ...
