    En anglais...

    ------

    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to gather some ideas of subjects for an oral presentation in my Optical Properties of Materials class: I'd love to find something pleasant or at least nice to develop (like I heard "how a cameleon changes color?"^^), not too theoretical if possible...
Do you have some ideas which could help me? Thanks a lot

    Hi,

I don't know what to tell..."why is windows' glass transparent to light (maybe too simple for you)?"
There are a lot of things to say about metamaterials in general I think.

Well, yes, it's this sort of idea that I try to gather. Would you have means to get more info about this kind of subjects though? (other than Wikipedia)?
    Thanks a lot anyway

There was an interesting paper about the color of butterflies in the 2011 February issue of Pour la Science (maybe it was in March)

If you want something like a free access to some advanced articles I can only recommand Arxiv. You might find what you're looking for there.
